University of Michigan Hospitals

The patient and visitors accommodations program is a travel agency, (Vendor) that the University of Michigan, Comprehensive Cancer Center,  uses for motel, hotel accommodations for patients. The hotels and motels this Vendor uses was originally owned by American investors. When they get out of date, (ran down) they are sold off to foreign investors and rented out at a reduced rate to U of M patients. i.e. One must be a U of M patient to rent these carcinogen disease infested sewers. With the total lack of health laws and regulations in Michigan, this travel agency is able to rent rooms that would normally be found in slum areas. Sure we get what we pay for but one would expect a much healthier environment when one has to go through a medical University to get the room.

These pictures are of the Extended stay of America, 1501 Brierwood circle and the Extended stay Deluxe, 3265 Boardwalk Way, both are in Ann Arbor Michigan. The manager, Jason Davis, manages 9 proprieties and keeps himself far removed from guests with complaints by making people go through the local mgr.s. i.e. He is always on the phone and never gets a chance to call back. He was supposed to return my money for one of the rooms but never did. Though he probably got the money from his company and bought the stolen Vicodin with it.

Pic #1  This is where someone most likely got sick from Chemo treatments and puked. After traveling for 10 hours I went directly to bed, just to get up in the morning to see this mess as well as a filthy room. When undergoing Chemo, patients are cautioned to flush the commode twice, keep everything clean of body fluids and protect others from contamination for 48 hrs. One can just guess as to how many care givers and family members have gotten sick and or cancer from staying at these disgusting pig sty's. I asked that no one go in my room because of the room spray problem, I was assured no one would go in the room. They not only went in the room and sprayed it they stole 12 vicoden out of a bottle of 28. When I complained to the desk all I was told was that they would try and let me know who went in the room.

Pic #2  After complaining about this I was given another room. dried blood and candy? in this air conditioner, candy and crap on the floor. I had to go out and get a can of disinfectant to spray it with. All rooms are heavily sprayed with cheep room spray to cover the smell from the dirty air conditioner filters. i.e. The dead skin and other contaminants that are in the air. According to the EPA dirty air condition filters is one of the largest sources of cancer causing carcinogens in our society. If one has breathing problems and has to use a C-pap machine or anything that concentrates the air, they wake up coughing up dark colored phlegm while the worst of it stays in the lungs causing cancer. U of M can't address this issue or they will lose some of there state research money. My cancer didn't show up in a 2006 cat-scan. By March of 2011 it had progressed to the point that they couldn't operate. About 2005 I started staying in motels, using a c-pap machine, I think that could have helped a lot in getting it started. Changing Air Conditioner filters is the most expensive maintenance operation in the hotel, motel business. Looks like the city of Ann Arbor and the state work together in catering to Foreign investors by looking the other way on public health issues. As far as ripping off the sick and dying, That's just the American way.

Pic #3+4  Rooms are torn apart to use the stuff for other rooms that are not purchased through the Universities Med-INN. #4 This stove has exposed wires from parts that were traded and don't fit.

Pic#5 This is where people take their dogs to crap, then take their babies to play on the grass, slapping their hands for picking up dog turds to play with. Most are unaware that this is a dogie dump playground combo.  back(2)
