___ Vendors

University of Michigan Hospitals and Health centers, home care services, is a University of Michigan owned, non-profit organization serving patients in Michigan, northern Ohio, and other areas. MEDEQUIP, is a full-service provider, (vendor) of home medical equipment, supplies, and related services that the University of Michigan contracts with for the above. MEDEQUIP is a good Service with built in protection from the hundreds of millions of dollars that are ripped off every year by the employees. Meaning__ MedEQUIP, is not responsible for the the huge amounts of money employees rip insurance companies off for, even though MedEQUIP gets the bulk of the money. Employees are pressured to make deliveries, if there is no one to sign for the delivery, or pick-up they simply forge a name, some do it for months after the person moved, died or whatever. I had three different deals where a Oxygen concentrator was supposed to have been delivered and wasn't. A desk clerk at the Ann Arbor, Holiday Inn, signed for one delivery and a different clerk signed for the pick-up. Can't pick-up what was never delivered. I'm sure the general manager of this Holiday inn is in on this, I heard him telling a clerk I was talking to on the phone what to say to me when I complained about desk clerks signing for equipment that was ever delivered. The general  manager should be looked into as part of organized theft. The second time I stayed at this place the desk clerk was overwhelming in insisting on loading my luggage onto a cart and having me go one way to my room while he took my luggage another route. I've been around enough to know what he was up so I tried to keep an eye on him. He brings the cart to the room and says a bag fell off and he would go get it. It takes him about 3 minutes to get the bag, There is a small black bag with narcotics and medication in it missing. I tell the General Manager, he shows me a video of my bag laying in the hall and says that clears the clerk, that I must have left the pill bag home. In 1974 and 75 I made a lot of money off Holiday inn, through there insurance companies setting up jerks like the guy that ripped me off.

Medicare, Medicaid, Fraud is over 1 Billion a year, I would say this is a big part of it when one considers__ Medicaid and Medicare pay for gas, bridge tolls, meals, all medical expenses, hotels, motels, medical equipment and supplies. i.e. The filthy germ infested rooms through Med-Inn, The supplies and equipment that was never delivered and the drugs that were stolen.
