I was prompted to get this web site out of fear for my life. I also want
to dedicate it to Scott Burrow, Lambert Chapman and Derek Copp. Derek is in the hospital now (Tue. March 2009) suffering
from gun shot wounds inflicted by the Grand Rapids police, my information on the ordeal is that the police wanted
to kill him for something he knew about police corruption. I hope he lives to tell his story and doesn't join Scott and Lambert
for many years. (Hope I live long enough to get all of my story out).
(pg.19) Scott Burrow was murdered in the Shiawassee County jail on Sept.16Th 1995. Attorney Ralph Hoschner and I have sworn
statements from Scott, that leaves little doubt as to why he was murdered, Fieger wants to use those statements and my testimony
to force the County to settle a wrongful death suit brought on by Scott's mother. AboutOct/18Th/1996: I got a Subpoena and Notice of Deposition to appear in Flint Mi. to give a deposition
at noon, Oct/24/1996. The evening I got the Subpoena I got a phone call threatening my life if I appeared for the deposition. I
called the F.B.I. and was told that the only thing they would have to do with me is to track me down and arrest me if I was
turned in to them for not appearing. I called the U.S. Marshals office and was told that the only way they could get involved
was if I was a witness for the government. They said "Try calling the agency that sent the summons". I called Johnson,
Rosati, Galica, Labarge, Aseltyne & Field, P.C. in Farmington Hills, Michigan, and was told to call the attorneys for
the plaintiff, Geoffrey Fieger's office. I called Fieger's office and told them that I wasn't going to any deposition, Fieger
says, not to worry, he would take care of it.
Mr. Fieger made national news when he sued the Jenny Jones show. The show interviewed 2 gay guys from Pontiac Mi. One was
so upset with the other for confessing his love for him that when they got back to Pontiac, he shot and killed him with a
shotgun. Fieger, like other lawyers from outside the upper peninsula of Mi. won’t practice law in da U.P. Here’s
why, (@)
About Nov/10Th/1996:
I get a Re-Notice of Deposition. This time I'm to appear at a place in Lansing, Mi. on Nov.13 at 11:00 a.m. I get another
threat. This time I have no doubt what-so-ever as to who it is, State Police Trooper Jaime Corona. (pg.18) "It never left my site". He wanted me to know it was him. I
call Fieger's office refusing to go to that deposition and again I'm told, "not to worry about it".
In the next couple mos. I get several more threats when
a lawyer from Fieger's office calls me, identifies herself and says, "Is this the real Mr. Eldridge?" Me- "How
many can there be?" Rebecca "I know Mr. Fieger was worried about your safety. Mr. Fieger will take care of you,
Mr. Eldridge, I'm calling about 2 matters. Number 1 is I want you to tell me what you know about that place, (meaning the
Shiawassee County jail). Number 2, is I need you to tell me your address so I can send you a summons so you can give
your testimony in court Monday, and we will send a car for you if you would like. (This was on a Friday).
(pg.1)Monday morning the case was settled for 1.9 million dollars. This was a case where two Sheriff's Deputies,
the Shiawassee Co. Sheriff, a Lieutenant and the County of Shiawassee, Michigan were being sued by the estate of Scott Burrows
for the two deputies killing Scott in the Co. jail. Officer Grady Tkaczyk was one of the officers who was accused
of killing Scott and the same officer who ground my hip bones, down, dragging me over the cement.
(23) Scott Burrows gave my court appointed attorney, Robert Hoschner, a signed statement that
he overheard Sheriff, A. J. Lajoye, telling then Assistant Prosecutor Randy Colbrey, (in Judge Lostraccos Presence), that
once the ole judge puts him (ME) back in his jail, he guaranteed that I wouldn't walk out alive. (pg.19) I was dragged out handcuffed between two other prisoners, unable to
walk with a hemoglobin of 4.3. It's been 10 years now and I've yet to hear from Mr. Fieger or any mention of his
concerns about my safety. Rebecca has never called about that talk over what she referred to as that place either, though
I'm reminded every day about the cops wanting to kill me. I figure Fieger got about $600,000.00 from the Shiawassee Co. taxpayers
of the 1.9 mil. settlement, which he couldn't have gotten if a jury heard my testimony. U.S. district Judge, Bernard
Friedman, Is the Judge hearing the case and his name is on the subpoenas, I write him a registered, certified, restricted
delivery letter about the threats on my life if I went to the depositions. The envelope came back empty Stamped U.S. Marshal.
Judge Friedman awards Scott's estate $1.9 million. And another killer cop goes free. Go here (pg.11)to see how Fieger spends his DIRT money. My life is pure hell being on the
Mi. State Police hit list. Governor (Granholm) used to be a federal prosecutor. Lying cops like Provost and Corona are
her pride and joy, guaranteeing promotions for both of them. (pg.21) According to the Mi. State Attorney Generals office, it is perfectly legal for prosecutors in criminal cases
and attorneys in civil cases to use threats on witnesses lives as aces up there sleeves to force plea-bargains and settlements.
